McPhee provided electrical installation, commissioning, and testing services for the new Transmission Operation Center in Berlin, CT.
The scope of the work included installation of feeders, branch circuits, low voltage raceways, cable tray, switchgear and distribution, lighting, fire alarm, temporary light and power, grounding, and lightning protection.
The specific scope of work included installation of 600V distribution equipment, generator/ATS/control, UPS systems, 48V DC power, 600V feeders, tele/data equipment, and security system. Additionally, McPhee installed a 250A STS switch, two 150kVa UPS systems, three PDU’s, and EPO buttons. The project required 12,550 labor hours, while McPhee completed the project with 9,200 labor hours, ahead of schedule.
