Team McPhee brought the walkers and the energy to participate in Foodshare's 32nd Annual Walk Against Hunger which routed folks around Hartford's gorgeous Bushnell Park on Sunday May 3rd.
Team McPhee raised over $1,300 as a company, and proudly joined other special organizations as a route sponsor for Foodshare's event.
Foodshare's vision is for a community where all of the people in the regions they serve can get all of the food they need. McPhee believes strongly in providing valuable resources for our community and directed their donation to serve the Farmington Food Pantry in Farmington Connecticut. Together we can all have a hand in ending hunger in our communities.
Every year McPhee Electric, Ltd. makes charitable donations to worthy organizations in lieu of giving holiday gifts by polling our friends, family, customers and vendor partners.
This year the survey resulted in an overwhelming response to make a charitable donation to the Connecticut Burn Center located in Bridgeport Hospital.
A group of McPhee Electric employees visited the Burn Center in early February to present their donation and they were given a very special tour of the facility. In addition, McPhee learned where the donated funds go in the department and were able to chat with the Burn Center medical director about the life saving work her team does.
McPhee is proud to be able to make contributions on behalf of their clientele to worthy causes.
